Solid State Illumination for Bioanalysis

The AURA incorporates up to five independently controlled light sources. Microscope light sources may include LEDs, luminescent light pipes and lasers, depending on output wavelength and power requirements.

The MAGMA Light Engine incorporates 21 individually addressable LED light sources, ranging from 365 nm to 1050 nm

Lumencor SOLA Light Engine

Solid-State White Light Source

All four SOLA Light Engine models (SOLA SOLA FISH, SOLA V-nIR and U-nIR) provide both manual and electronic control of light output on/off status and electronically controlled linear output intensity adjustment. 

Sources: 4, 5, or 6 solid state illumination sources operating simultaneously to produce white light

Output Power: 3.5 to 4.5 Watts (depending on model) white light output from 3 mm diameter liquid light guide (LLG)

Spectral Range: 360–660 nm (SOLA, SOLA FISH); 380–760 nm SOLA V-N; 360–760 nm SOLA U-N

Light Delivery: 3 mm diameter liquid light guide (LLG) included. Collimating adapter for microscope sold separately

Installation: 10–15 minutes. Fully assembled and pre-aligned

Routine Maintenance: None. No consumables required

Control Interface: USB-B input port for remote control by light engine control pod or PC. BNC input port for TTL-activated electronic shutter. Manual light output on/off button, optional foot pedal accessory

The SPECTRA X Light Engine provides six independently controllable, tunable light sources spanning the visible spectrum from 360–780 nm and comes equipped with a set of eight optical bandpass filters
